Gerolding – Melk
My route takes me from the plateau to the Danube 🧜♂️🧜♀️ and then to Melk, the gateway to the Wachau. It gets adventurous, numerous stream crossings await.
Aggsbach Dorf – Gerolding
From the Aggsbach monastery, I climb up a strenuous Way of the Cross and reach the plateau of the Dunkelsteinerwald forest. A glorious day ☀️
Hofarnsdorf – Rossatz
A Roman path takes me into the autumnal Kupfertal and further to the Dunkelsteinerwald with a stop at the Seekopf viewing tower. Downhill through the Steinige Ries.

Robens Trek: To Kleberkopf
First time camping on a mountain ⛺ Yay! Plus a hike up the Kleberkopf and a delicious barbecue in the evening.
Scheibe and Scheiblingstein
A rewarding mountain hike. From Langau to the Scheibe and the Scheiblingstein ⛰️ with fantastic views of Lake Lunz and the Ybbstal Alps.
Pöstlingberg
I hike up the 539 metre-high Pöstlingberg during this city hike. An incredible panorama and a historic fortification ring await me.
Cycling
Sulzberg Route
A fantastic mountain bike tour in the southern Waldviertel. I ride on the Scheibe along the Danube high up into the Ostrong Forest onto the Sulzberg.
Cider Baron Circuit
The apple 🍎 is in bloom! A varied round trip with great panoramic views, blossoming orchards, some history and tantalising delicacies.

A short and steep mountainbike tour in the Strudengau. Perfect for a scenic detour of the Danube Cylce Path
